Tara Goodwin Frier, entrepreneur and founder of Goodwin Group PR, brings over 30 years of media relations, public affairs and public policy experience to the firm.
Since founding Goodwin PR in 2001, Tara has built a company that attracts, engages and sustains clients ranging from small start-ups and nonprofit organizations to high-profile CEOs, professional athletes and coaches. She is considered an expert in crisis communications, media relations, strategic events and effective content development and curation. Known for her open and honest counsel, Tara helps clients develop communications programs that drive traffic, develop relationships and resonate with key audiences. She is a driven and focused leader who partners with her clients to deliver exceptional results.
Prior to starting her own company, Frier served as Vice President of Edelman Boston and was the lead strategist for the state’s education reform (MCAS) campaign. Her contributions to Barnes & Noble’s Close the Book on Hate campaign scored a Silver Saber award for best retail marketing initiative.
She was named one of Boston’s Top 10 PR specialists twice in three years by Women’s Business Boston, won the Bronze Stevie Award for Women in Business in 2015 and was nominated for PR Person of the Year by Biz Bash and Coolest Company of the Year by Bostinno.
Earlier in her career, Frier served as chief of staff of the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development where she managed a staff of 250 and a budget of $450 million. In addition, she worked with her team to develop an affordable housing policy designed to alleviate the Massachusetts housing crisis, managed contractors and served as a member of the Governor’s Commission on Domestic Violence.
In her spare time, she lectures at her alma mater Boston University, is co-president of the Sharon Education Foundation and lives in Sharon with her husband Ted, sons T.J. and Will and pug dog Bogey.

Margrette Cardone Mondillo, President of Goodwin Group PR, is responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of the firm.
Since joining Goodwin Group PR in 2002, Margrette has helped grow the agency’s client base and its revenues by attracting new clients, developing strategic plans, engaging sponsors and launching the firm’s Sports Marketing & Entertainment Division with an impressive client roster that includes former New England Patriots Matt Light, Troy Brown and Zoltan Mesko, Coach Bill Belichick and ESPN reporter Mike Reiss.
Mondillo is known for the deep relationships she has developed over the years with local, regional and national journalists as well as her ability to create effective PR programs for clients that deliver results in both the short and long-term. As a former news writer and producer, she is constantly seeking the most relevant angles to best promote our clients’ stories and understands what ideas best resonate with today’s journalists. She is also responsible for managing all aspects of the firm’s largest annual client event, The Matt Light Celebrity Shoot-Out that she and her staff transformed from a fun day in the back woods, to the premier clay target shooting tournament in the country with revenues to match – from $200,000 to $750,000 in annual sponsorships and donations.
Mondillo is the go-to production person for many of Goodwin PR’s other client events, too – parlaying her ability to manage live television events into a niche asset for the fundraisers, industry panel discussions, grand openings and variety of high-profile affairs produced and executed by the company.
Prior to joining the company, Mondillo served as a former Senior Producer for the E! Networks in Los Angeles and leverages her contacts for the firm’s clients. An Emmy-nominated producer who ran a live, daily national cable entertainment news program, Mondillo also field-produced celebrated events such as Oscar parties, international film festivals, and behind-the-scenes features on feature films and popular TV shows. She has interviewed hundreds of celebrities and newsmakers throughout her career both at the E! Networks and as a television writer and producer at various top-rated news stations in Los Angeles, and prior to that, at WBZ-TV in Boston.
Mondillo sits on the Board of Directors for the Light Foundation, Matt Light’s nonprofit organization that benefits at-risk youth and rising young leaders from around the country.
Margrette resides in Canton with her husband Dave, daughter Grace and son, Michael. When she’s not working, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending her spare time with her equally busy family.

JoJo Gutfarb, Goodwin Group PR’s Director of Media Relations and Digital Strategy, works daily with both national and local press. She is responsible for developing digital media plans for the firm’s clients that activate audiences, create connections, and grow visibility and ultimately revenues.
JoJo is co-architect of the firm’s sports and entertainment division and has developed event publicity and media relations strategies for the firm’s high-profile events including: The Bill Belichick Foundation’s Hall of Fame Huddle, former NFL punter Zoltan Mesko’s Zolioke, The Light Foundation’s Matt Light Celebrity Shoot-Out and The Lenny Zakim Fund’s 20th Anniversary Celebration and Casino Night events.
Since joining Goodwin Group PR in 2011, JoJo has secured national and local media coverage for the agency’s clients in various fields including lifestyle, sports and nonprofit. In addition, she has helped businesses and individuals be effective communicators by helping them navigate and populate various social platforms that are most appropriate to their industry and needs.
Gutfarb has cultivated an impressive roster of clients, celebrities and journalists and understands how to make Goodwin Group PR’s clients stand out from the competition. She brokered a contract with Bravo TV’s Million Dollar Listing New York’s Ryan Serhant to host an ultimate brokers’ open house, organized a private benefit concert for a high-end celebration featuring Grammy Award winner Sting, a young professionals’ event with Bill and Giuliana Rancic, and coordinated magazine cover shoots for clients such as New England Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick.
Prior to joining the company, Gutfarb worked throughout her college years as an intern for the New England Patriots focusing on in-season, post-season and training camp media relations. She has worked multiple times with the NFL public relations team as a Super Bowl staffer. As an intern at Time Inc.’s Sports Illustrated in 2010, JoJo learned the ins and outs of social and digital media and the impact it can have.
She is an alumna of Mount Holyoke College where she majored in Mass Media & Society and also captained the Varsity Equestrian Team.
When JoJo’s not working – which isn’t often – she loves to travel, ride horses, snap photos and try different fitness classes.

Josh Sarnowitz, Senior Account Executive and Intern Coordinator, is responsible for managing accounts for several of Goodwin Group PR’s clients. He also hires and trains all of Goodwin Group PR’s interns.
He began his career at Goodwin Group PR as a summer intern and Josh’s ability to get the job done, solve problems and work both creatively and independently made him the perfect candidate for a full-time position. He joined the team in 2012 and has further honed these critical skills to benefit many of the firm’s clients.
Josh excels by building relationships and bringing a creative approach to each project he is involved with, and our clients have taken notice. His writing skills, resourcefulness in the field and under pressure handling the complicated technical needs at client events allow him to adapt to many different, but critical company roles.
He’s equally comfortable handing sponsor outreach for our nonprofit clients as he is to crafting timely pitches for our law firms or professional services companies. Josh is versatile on many levels and strives to keep learning and developing relevant industry skills.
In addition to day-to-day client account oversight, Josh has been a tremendous asset to the firm in particular with our internship program and the creation of Goodwin Group PRoductions, the developmental videography arm of Goodwin Group PR, designed to enhance client programs.
He is a graduate of Towson University in Maryland and when he’s not working, can be likely be found spending his time outdoors – snowboarding, playing sports, fishing or at the beach.

Amanda Santucci, Account Executive, is responsible for managing day-to-day account activity for several of Goodwin Group PR’s clients. She draws on her former teaching experience to effectively communicate and execute strategic client programs on time and on budget.
Since joining Goodwin Group PR in 2014, Santucci has become an invaluable member of the team. Her dedication as a certified holistic nutritionist and founder of a healthy food blog (The Skinny Spice) led her to singlehandedly run the Grand Opening of Chef’s Playground at Boston’s Children’s Hospital that featured celebrity chefs competing in the style of The Food Network’s “Chopped.”
She has cultivated new and exciting relationships with journalists and bloggers on behalf of Goodwin Group PR clients that have generated significant coverage in: The Huffington Post, Teen Vogue, Fast Company, and Glamour Magazine.
One of her many talents is finding and implementing fresh, creative ideas to improve the efficacy of client programs. Amanda has developed event planning protocol, and she is also responsible for client website reviews and updates.
Prior to joining the firm, Santucci was a freelance event planner/manager in Los Angeles. She was a Teach for America Eastern North Carolina corps member and also taught at Medfield Public Schools while continuing freelance work in television production.
Amanda graduated Magna Cum Laude with degree in Media Communication from Stonehill College.

T.J. Frier interned with Goodwin Group PR during his time at Bridgewater State University studying communications. Prior to joining the Goodwin team, T.J. had valuable experience in the hospitality and sales industries working in several restaurants and as a salesman for Toyota. His experience and approachable personality helps relate to the company's diverse client base, and he always brings new and interesting ideas to the table.
